Project Manager
Contract / Side job / Full-time | Remote or ZREK Labs (Kawasaki)
About the role
We're looking for someone to stand between customers and our engineers and move custom AI robot development and Operia deployments forward. Together with business development, this is the role we are hiring for most actively right now.
What you'll do
- Understand the challenges in a customer's factory, define requirements, and prepare proposals and quotes
- Manage development schedules, budgets, and risks
- Coordinate our AI, robotics, and software engineers and outside partners
- Plan on-site setup and testing, and follow up after deployment
Requirements
Must have
- 2+ years managing development projects (software or hardware)
- Experience working directly with customers
- Drives your own work and keeps the team informed
- Values communication with the team
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing, factory automation, or robot system integration
- Hands-on experience as an engineer

- ¥2,500–¥6,000 per hour, with raises based on results and new skills
- About ¥4.8M–¥11.5M per year at full time (160 hours per month)
