COO Ryoma Eguchi presents results of the City of Kawasaki SME DX Model Development Program

On March 13, 2026, the results meeting for the City of Kawasaki's FY2025 SME DX Model Development Program was held, and COO Ryoma Eguchi presented our project, "Metal machining automation with AI built for small factories."

We reported the results of the field trial of the solution we developed in the program, which automates workpiece loading and unloading on CNC lathes. We were then joined by Ohya Seisakujyo, the manufacturer that hosted the trial, for a panel discussion. Together we shared what the trial achieved and discussed the challenges and next steps for rolling the model out to other factories.
